Overview
Glass fiber stitch-bonded needle mats are designed for thermal insulation in industrial applications with temperature exposure up to 1000°C (short-term) and continuous use up to 800°C. Manufactured from E-glass fibers and mechanically stitch-bonded with yarn reinforcement, the mats stabilize the fiber structure. The stitch-bonding process interweaves fibers and yarn to improve tensile, compressive and flexural strength while minimizing fiber migration. The mats contain no binders, are lightweight and provide chemical and mechanical resistance suitable for aggressive operating environments.
