NYFROST 32 is characterized by having very low pour point, good cold flowing properties and high thermal and chemical stability NYFROST 32 can be used in refrigerators using refrigerants such as hydrocarbons, ammonia and CFC's The high solvent power and the very good low temperature properties of NYFROST 32 lead to good floc points for the refrigerant-oil mixture The benefits of using naphthenic base oils for this application are the high solvent power and the very good low temperature properties that are leading to good floc points for the refrigerant-oil mixture. It is wax-free and is characterized by having very low pour point, very good cold flowing properties, and high thermal and chemical stability. NYFROST 32 is recommended for use in refrigerators using refrigerants such as hydrocarbons, e.g. Isobutane (R600a), Ammonia (R717) and CFC's (R12 and R 22). NYFROST 32 is a hydrotreated naphthenic base oil, classified as an API Group V base oil. The viscosity at 40°C is 32 cSt and this is the product with lowest viscosity among our NYFROST grades.
