Bucket elevators are characterized by:
• Shaped or plastic stamped buckets with optimal profile to improve the loading and the parabolic path at discharge.
• A fabric and rubber conveyor belts. Belts speed from 1,5 to 3,5 m/s according to the type of product.
• A head and boot sections that are manufactured in rolled plate, appropriately reinforced and bolted together. The rolled plate is characterized by increased thickness in areas subject to wear with the possibility of special lining upon request. Heat and boot sections are easily removable for maintenance.
• Belt tensioning device mounted in boot with screw conterweight.
• Journals with self-aligning roller bearings.
• Direct drive with gearmotor or very high capacities drive arrangement is complete with heavy duty gearbox, backstop brake and hydraulic coupling.
• Painted or galvanized elevator casings in flanged segment of rectangular section.
• Bolted doors for belts and buckets maintenance.
• The application of driving rollers mounted next the belt to
avoid slack, in case of considerable heights.
• The speed control unit fixed on the boot shaft can be supplied on request.
The bucket elevator is also available in the stainless steel (ETS/X) and galvanized steel version.
