Product Overview
The Oster 8R Rapiduction is an industrial pipe and bolt threading machine engineered for shop and field applications. Its heavy, massive construction includes hand‑scraped ways and bearings to ensure alignment and precision. Two clutch levers (front and rear) together with the rear flange gripping chuck allow efficient making and breaking of fittings.

No Diehead Change
A single diehead threads all pipe sizes from 2.5" through 8" without changing head, holders or dies (uses Symbol 8R dies).

Radial Dies
M2 tool steel dies are retained in durable steel holders; one set covers all sizes of the same pitch and taper.

Accessories

• Victaulic type grooving tool attachment — ensures correct groove depth, width and distance from pipe end for Victaulic applications; available as optional equipment for the 8R.
• Model 8T — variant for precision A.P.I. threading; includes leadscrew, taper attachment and a diehead using tangential chasers.
• Additional accessories: No. 6 nipple chuck, adjustable pipe supports, and Oster thread cutting oil "OSTO".
