Product Overview
Oster 582/584 portable industrial pipe & bolt threading machine designed for bolt and pipe threading up to 2" capacity. Portable production threader for multi-hour threading with variable speeds from 22-58 RPM to optimize for job requirements.

Oster 582A (Slide-In Tools)
Portable production threader; slide-in carriage option; variable speeds 22-58 RPM.

Oster 584 (Swing-Over Tools)
Equipped with Swing-Over tools for pipe threading; Oster Quad II Swing-Over features an automatic opening system ensuring proper NPT thread length; includes through die-head oiling.

• Motor - 2 H.P. single phase (three phase optional) 50/60 Hz; specify single-phase 115 or 230 volt, three-phase 230 or 460 volt; variable speed drive (speeds selectable 22 through 58 RPM)
• Switch - Heavy duty, reversing. Safety foot switch included.
• Carriage - Slide type with feed lever.
• Dies - TWO sets High Speed Steel Pipe Dies (Symbol Quad) Right-Hand: 1 set (1/2" and 3/4"), 1 set (1" thru 2").
• Reamer - Detachable, blade type.
• Cutter - Roller type, self centering. (Blade type available at extra cost - Slide-In carriage only).
• Front Chuck - Fast, positive. Grips in both right and left hand direction. Equipped with replaceable jaw inserts.
• Rear Centering Chuck - Rotating type; scroll actuates 3 guides simultaneously.
• Gage - Graduated for 1/8" thru 2" (also for running threads in 1/8" increments).
• Oil Pump - Reversible, vane type with relief valve.
• Oil - Thread cutting, FIVE gallons - Oster "OSTO".
