Product overview
Precision hinges GN 7580 provide pivoting movement to elements such as swing arms, spacers and clamping plates. The design features low radial play, adjustable axial play and wear‑resistant bearing surfaces. Bearing bushings and tapped bushings of types B and D are supplied preassembled in the hinge leaves; hinge pin, thrust washers and adjusting screws are supplied separately.

Notes on testing
Values were determined in compression tests with gradually increasing force and slow loading/unloading. For test assembly, hinge leaves were positioned with dowel pins and fastened with socket cap screws at rated torque. Permissible load capacity corresponds to the value after which only very low plastic deformation remained (no functional impact). Failure loads exceed the specified guide values.
