Specification DefinitionModular or monobloc tank, produced by an ISO 9001/2008 certified company, suitable for the storage and reuse of drinking water, rainwater, and other food-grade liquids. Made from spirally wound polyethylene reinforced with galvanized steel, compliant with UNI 11434 standard, suitable for underground installation beneath trafficable surfaces and/or above-ground installation. The tank is equipped with polyethylene [PE] inlets and inspection ports, and housing for lift pumps to elevate water to higher levels. Optional extensions can be installed on the inspection ports of all units.
ApplicationsPALATANK tanks are suitable for rainwater storage, potable water conservation, and creating a water resource for various uses.

SpecificationsPALATANK tanks are monobloc or modular to achieve large storage volumes and optimize space. Thanks to polyethylene, a non-toxic material that does not promote algae growth and is resistant to chemicals in the soil, PALATANK tanks, whether installed underground or above ground, are suitable for storing potable water and accumulating water for fire-fighting, washing, and irrigation systems. PALATANK tanks are made with polyethylene and galvanized steel pipes class DX51 D + ZF/Z, compliant with UNI EN 10346, incorporated into the pipe wall. Continuous bonding of the steel core to the polyethylene walls is achieved through chemical fastening, ensuring polyethylene-steel solidarity and perfect adhesion. Therefore, they are much lighter than those made from other materials [e.g., concrete, fiberglass], resulting in extremely economical and quick transport and installation.
UsagePotable water storage system made with spirally wound PEAD PE100 pipes reinforced with galvanized steel, compliant with UNI 11434 standard, suitable for burial beneath trafficable surfaces, equipped with a water lifting system and related supports. Optional extensions can be installed on the inspection ports of all units. Upon request, a small lifting station can be configured within the storage volume, housing lift pumps using small polyethylene structures forming a cavity to be filled with concrete for anchor bolts.

Fire-fighting SystemsPALATANK tanks, whether buried or above ground, paired with an external room and pressurization station, form a complete system for fire-fighting installations. The tank, suitable for installation under trafficable areas, provides the necessary water reserve to ensure the building's load-bearing capacity and limit the spread of fire and smoke. With the aid of an above-ground technical room, the tank can be installed in both above and below ground modes. The pressurization group can consist of vertical turbine pumps with vertical axis suction above ground, or horizontal axis pumps below ground, or with suction pipes above ground and pumps installed in the technical room.
Fire-fighting UsageWater storage system allows the fire-fighting system to have a water reserve for use in case of fires or to supply pressurization groups. Made with spirally wound polyethylene pipes reinforced with galvanized steel, compliant with UNI 11434 standard, suitable for burial beneath trafficable surfaces with a water lifting system. Optional extensions can be installed on the inspection ports of all units.
Fire-fighting Reference StandardsTanks and equipment comply with fire-fighting standards:
UNI EN 12845/15
UNI 11292
UNI 10779
In accordance with DPR 151/2011 regulating fire prevention.

Irrigation SystemsPALATANK tanks are monobloc or modular to best fit space constraints. They are suitable for above-ground and underground installation and can be used for irrigation system storage. Depending on the surfaces to be irrigated, they supply automatic or manual systems. The system allows for the accumulation and redistribution of water volumes sized according to cultivation needs. PALATANK tanks are distinguished by the non-toxic characteristics of polyethylene and do not promote algae growth.
Irrigation UsageWater accumulation and reuse system equipped with accessory equipment such as inlet pipes, check valves, overflow, submersible pumps, delivery pipes, and electronic pressure switches. Made with spirally wound polyethylene pipes reinforced with galvanized steel, compliant with UNI 11434 standard, suitable for burial beneath trafficable surfaces with a water lifting system. Optional extensions can be installed on the inspection ports of all units.
