Description
The Ident-Ex® 02 is the smallest and lightest wireless 1D/2D barcode scanner and reader certified for Zone 1/21, Zone 2/22 and Class I/II hazardous areas. Built with German engineering and a Honeywell scan engine, it is offered in four configurations (Pocket, Grip, Grip+, Smart Grip) and supports Flex Range and Long Range scanning options. The device can operate stand-alone with internal battery and local memory for independent workflows.

The Ident-Ex® 02 is suitable for scanning, imaging & AutoID, warehousing & logistics, life sciences & pharmaceutical (HMI), asset tracking, chemical & fine-chemical environments, gas bottle filling & tracking, aircraft fuel delivery, operator rounds, maintenance/inspection, coatings, wood/cask tracking and direct part marking in defense applications.

Safety notice
When using the Ident-Ex® 02 Smart Grip DZ1 with a Smart-Ex® 203 attached, entry is restricted to Zone 2/22 (Division 2) areas only. For Zone 1/21 (Division 1) areas use the appropriate DZ1-certified smartphone (Smart-Ex® 03 DZ1).
