Description

Product overview
The SCS climbing bracket system is a modular bracket solution for single-sided (non‑tied) and two‑sided anchored wall formwork. Loads from fresh concrete pressure are transferred via the brackets into climbing anchors in the previous concreting section. Typical applications include dams, locks, cooling towers, bunkers and vaults, pier heads and tunnels.

Key benefits
  • Load transfer into climbing anchors without formwork ties for single‑sided applications.
  • High bracket load capacity enabling large, craneable climbing units.
  • Inclinable working platforms provide safe, horizontal work areas even on inclined structures.
  • Economical for two‑sided applications thanks to minimal additional components and high material utilisation.

Variations
  • SCS 190: Bracket width approx. 1.90 m; compact footprint and tilting device for striking the formwork.
  • SCS 250: Bracket width approx. 2.50 m; equipped with a formwork carriage allowing retraction without a crane (retraction up to 79 cm valid for MAXIMO and TRIO; up to 63 cm valid for VARIO GT 24), creating space for reinforcement, scaffold anchoring and box‑out operations.
  • SCS Starter Brace Frame: Starter solution for the first casting segment with diagonal anchoring into the base slab; strongback, spindle and formwork can be reused in subsequent climbing segments.
  • SCS two-sided application: With few additional components, suitable for anchored two‑sided wall formwork up to 6.00 m high.

Project examples & usage notes
  • Used on large hydraulic and civil projects where craneable climbing units and adaptable platforms are required (e.g. tunnel, dam and lock structures).
  • Suitable for single‑sided operations and, with minimal add‑ons, for two‑sided anchored wall formwork up to 6.00 m, optimising material use and logistics.

Technical specifications
  • System type: Modular climbing bracket system for single‑sided (no ties) and two‑sided anchored wall formwork.
  • Load transfer: Brackets transfer fresh concrete pressure into climbing anchors of the previous concreting section.
  • Typical applications: Dams, locks, cooling towers, bunkers, vaults, pier heads, tunnels.
  • Bracket widths: SCS 190 ≈ 1.90 m; SCS 250 ≈ 2.50 m.
  • Formwork carriage retraction (SCS 250): up to 79 cm (MAXIMO, TRIO); up to 63 cm (VARIO GT 24) without crane.
  • Two‑sided capability: anchored wall formwork up to 6.00 m with minimal additional components.
  • Starter system: diagonal anchoring into base slab; reuse of strongback, spindle and formwork for following segments.
  • Working platforms: inclinable platforms adaptable to inclined structural elements (safe, horizontal working areas).
  • Design focus: modularity for optimal material utilisation and reduced logistics.
