Overview The movable, anchor-free solution for bridges over 150 m long. The PERI Cantilevered Parapet Carriage (VGW) provides a flexible, efficient and simple solution for modern bridge parapet construction.

System and Adaptability Built from VARIOKIT components, the VGW cantilever can be adapted to a wide range of geometries. Frame spacings and formwork lengths per carriage unit can be configured according to load requirements to ensure optimal use of materials and system capacity.

Operation and Assembly The formwork carriage is relocated cost-effectively using heavy-duty rollers on U‑steel profiles. In most projects no anchoring into the structure is required; horizontal loads from concreting or wind are transmitted by friction to the existing deck. Final assembly is performed quickly with fitting pin connections. Units can be supplied optionally pre-assembled to reduce on-site assembly time.

Rental and Availability Core VARIOKIT components and system elements are available for rent, enabling rapid availability on site without prior capital investment and supporting refurbishment or temporary project requirements.
