The iTec dedusters are based on a segmented 316L stainless steel spiral, with stackable 275 mm modules that can be removed individually for easy dismantling, cleaning, and validation. This spiral offers a high degree of robustness. The cover is fully transparent, and clear segments in the tower provide a direct view to tablets throughout the process.
Key benefits
Constant high-performing dedusting with 100% emptying
Integrated CEIA or LOCK metal detector
High containment & Washable ≤OEB5 operation
Lightweight & modular 316L stainless steel segments
Available in five different elevation heights
Quiet operation <70 dB(A)
Centralized HMI control with optional 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
cGMP design, easy to handle & wash
Pressure monitoring with fail-safe security valves
Leak test with pressure decay
Flex Connect metal check system
The patented Flex Connect system ensures a completely closed Dust Tight transfer from the deduster to the drum without using tri-clamp connections. Vibrating parts are isolated from steady components to maintain optimal detector accuracy, while test samples can be introduced without operator contact. Multiple detectors are available, including Lock, Ceia, and Safeline.
Containment and safety
-
The unit can be configured as a Dust Tight, “C” Containment, or High Containment (≤OEB5) solution. Pressure monitoring and failsafe valves protect operators, and smart system integration allows test samples to be inserted safely. Conveying heights range from 500 mm to 1250 mm, adapting to various process requirements.
