Unmodified cast nylon 6 grade exhibiting characteristics which come very close to those of Ertalon 66 SA. It combines high strength, stiffness and hardness with good creep and wear resistance, heat ageing properties and machinability. Additionally, Ertalon 6 PLA stock shapes are also available in our Food Grade programme, which means that they can be supplied with a declaration of compliance, confirming they comply with the requirements mentioned in the European Regulations (EC) No 1935/2004 and (EU) 10/2011. The composition of the raw materials used for the manufacture of Ertalon 6 PLA stock shapes also comply with the regulations of the United States of America [FDA] for plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.
