Product overviewThe PRESTO cardboard shredders are available in three models (PPZ, PZB, PZZ) designed to process large volumes of paper and cardboard typically generated by furniture retailers, logistics operators and building-supply distributors. They reduce material size to prepare it for downstream compaction.
Shredding principle (PPZ / PZB)Types PPZ and PZB use two counter-rotating shafts running at different speeds to shear and tear cardboard. Two motors with different power ratings drive the shafts; the majority of material is reduced between the shafts into small fragments suitable for further compaction. Typical throughput is approx. 180 m³/h depending on material and feed configuration.
Cardboard crusher and feeder (PZZ)The PZZ model combines a crusher and feeder designed primarily to accept disposable cardboard pallets and to pre-crush bulky cardboard items. It is equipped with two separately driven prong-shafts and is not suitable for processing plastic film or strips.
Application / WorkflowRecommended for pre-processing large cardboard pieces prior to volume reduction and baling. Commonly integrated with PRESTO compactors (auger or other compactor types) for downstream volume reduction and bale preparation.
