Description

General description
The flange coupling FL-SP is developed for hydrostatic pump drives to connect internal combustion engines with hydraulic pumps. Its torsionally stiff design shifts critical resonances above the operating speed, enabling sub-critical operation without passing through damaging torsional vibration amplitudes. The FL-SP is compact, axially pluggable and suited for installations with limited axial space.

Design and construction
The FL-SP coupling consists of a clamping hub and a plastic-steel composite flange assembled as an axial plug-in connection. The clamping hub provides a backlash-free connection on the pump shaft. The coupling flange is available in various SAE sizes. REICH supplies pump mounting plates to attach hydraulic pumps to engine housings. Customized solutions can be developed under the D2C (Designed to Customer) principle.
