Product OverviewThe HDRCR Hydraulic Railcar Ramp is a hydraulic railcar loading ramp engineered to provide safe, controlled end-loading support and to facilitate placement of the dock leveler and lip when a railcar is not perfectly aligned with the loading dock.
Key Benefits- Suitable for facilities with rail access
- Adaptable lip to simplify leveler placement
- Secure end-loading support to stabilise operations
Efficient OperationThe Rite-Hite HDRCR design improves productivity by enabling smooth placement of the dock leveler and lip even when the railcar is misaligned with the dock door.
- Push-Button Hydraulic System provides powered raise/lower control when lowering the ramp into the railcar or returning it to the vertical stored position.
- Adaptable Lip offered as a single solid lip (common for narrow doors) or a split lip (multi-section) to enable easier leveler positioning. The split lip option allows independent operation of left, right or center sections via a Split Lip Control button.
- Counterbalance Hydraulic Valves maintain the leveler in the lowered position during loading/unloading while permitting free float of the deck.
- Grease Fittings facilitate proper lubrication to extend product service life.
Safety & SecurityRail access creates additional hazards; the HDRCR ramp incorporates features to protect personnel and equipment during use and maintenance.
- Tilt Back Bar / Rod helps prevent the leveler from falling backward when stored vertically.
- Safety Bracket Pins secure the leveler in the vertical stored position and reduce collapse risk if impacted from behind.
- Safety Legs extend to bear on concrete pads for secure end-loading at the start or finish of transfer operations.
- Maintenance (Linch) Pin provides additional protection during routine service tasks.
Warranty- Up to 20-year money-back warranty based on the Dock Leveler Investment Guide.
- 1-year parts & labor.
- 12-month limited money-back satisfaction guarantee.
Connected CapabilitiesThe leveler can be integrated with connected dock systems to provide visibility into dock performance for safety and productivity. When connected, the system supports real-time alerts, analytics and uptime/maintenance tracking.
- Safety: Real-time alerts for unsafe behaviors and fault conditions (e.g., overrides, unrestrained trailer entry, door open but barrier not deployed).
- Productivity: Analytics to measure loading duration, equipment utilization and identify bottlenecks.
- Uptime: Visibility into equipment status, service history, performance trends and maintenance records.
