Overview
The Merlin 55 is a truck-mounted road sweeper for 7.5–8.3 tonne GVW chassis. It uses Scarab's single-engine hydrostatic driveline to power sweeping components directly from the chassis engine, reducing fuel use, noise and servicing while maximising payload. The architecture supports powerful sweeping configurations including single or dual sweep, high-pressure water systems and a 900-litre water tank without compromising performance or manoeuvrability.

Key features

• Single-engine hydrostatic system integrated into the chassis driveline, enabling propulsion of sweeping components from the chassis engine with joystick single-pedal control for forward and reverse.
