The PureGas purifier delivers highly pure inert gases for analysis
A getter-based purification unit designed for the purification of carrier gases used in Gas Chromatography (GC) and other analytical applications
The PureGas reduces outlet impurity levels for oxygen, moisture, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, methane and nitrogen to low parts-per-billion (ppb) levels or below. The patented getter alloy, operated at elevated temperatures, removes impurities by forming irreversible chemical bonds. When the purifier is operated within specification, these impurities will not be released under any circumstances.
The benefits of getter-based purification
The PureGas is designed to further purify inert sample gases which already have a minimum purity of less than 10 parts per million (ppm).
Stable operation
The PureGas’s deep blue anodized exterior maintains a 45oC (113oF) surface temperature. The unit has efficient ceramic fiber insulation with an encapsulated heater coil. It is designed to operate continuously, without the need for servicing, throughout its rated capacity as long as the gas flowing is the carrier gas.
Reliable getter technology
When gas molecules strike the PureGas’s getter material, they combine with it chemically or by absorption, removing small amounts of gas from the evacuated space. No moving parts are required.
The right fittings for your needs
The purifier arrives fully assembled with either 1/8 compression fittings or Vacuum Coupling radiation (VCR) fittings available, depending on your purity needs. Purity levels from … <10ppb to <1ppb.
