Overview
The 3S-AT-PT1000-MB ambient temperature sensor measures air temperature using a PT1000 probe and transmits values via RS485 using the Modbus RTU protocol. It is supplied with a UV-stabilized plastic radiation shield (four aspirated plates) and a pre-drilled mounting base to protect readings from direct solar radiation. The sensor is designed for PV plant monitoring and industrial environmental measurements and complies with IEC 60751:2022 and IEC 61724-1:2021 (Annex B).

Product Details
3S-AT-PT1000-MB is an intelligent professional sensor with a digital RS485 interface supporting baud rates up to 38400. The probe is housed in a stainless-steel tube and the radiation shield is UV-stabilized ABS. Typical application: monitoring ambient temperature to support PV system performance analysis (ambient temperature influences cell temperature, air density and heat transfer).

Installation
The sensor is delivered with a pre-assembled radiation shield and mounting base. Fix the assembly on a flat surface or mast using screws through the provided holes. Route cables through the supplied cable gland and ensure the shield remains unobstructed to allow natural airflow.
