Description

Product description
The 3S-AT-PT1000-MB ambient temperature sensor measures air temperature for PV installations and industrial sites using a PT1000 sensing element. It provides digital output via RS485 and communicates over Modbus RTU. The sensor is supplied with a UV-stabilized plastic radiation shield with four aspirated plates to minimize radiative errors and a pre-drilled mounting base for quick installation.

Key features
  • PT1000 sensing element for precise ambient temperature measurement.
  • Digital interface: RS485 (Modbus RTU) compatible with dataloggers and PLCs.
  • UV-stabilized radiation shield with ventilated plates to prevent solar/radiative bias.
  • Pre-drilled mounting holes for fast, secure installation on flat surfaces or poles.
  • Designed for PV plant monitoring and industrial environmental measurement.

Standards and compliance
Designed and manufactured in compliance with IEC 60751:2022 and IEC 61724-1:2021 (Annex B). Sensor accuracy conforms to Class A per IEC 60751:2022.

Installation
The sensor is supplied with a pre-assembled radiation shield and mounting base. Fix the assembly to a flat surface or mounting pole using screws through the provided holes. Route cables through the gland provided and ensure the shield is free from obstruction to allow natural airflow.
