Description

Product overview
The Ambient Temperature Sensor measures air temperature in the environment where PV modules are installed in °C using a PT1000 probe. It is compatible with the SEVEN Irradiance Sensor Box and supplied with a pre-mounted radiation shield that protects the probe from direct sunlight while allowing free air flow through four aspirated plates.

Features and usage
The sensor includes a UV-resistant shading accessory to minimize radiation effects. It is designed for environmental and industrial applications and developed to meet PV plant monitoring requirements in compliance with IEC 60751:2022 and IEC 61724-1:2021. Measurements are provided as ohmic resistance signals (PT1000). The sensor connects to SEVEN Irradiance Sensor, Sensor Box models, Compact Weather Stations via a 6-pin IP67 connector and can be linked directly to dataloggers and other receiving devices.

Installation
For ground or flat-surface mounting, use the supplied pre-mounted shield. Fasten the unit by inserting screws through the mounting holes in the shield into the flat surface. The shield and hole layout allow quick and straightforward installation without special tools.
