Description

Product overview
Ambient Temperature Sensor measures air temperature using a PT1000 probe and provides an analog 4–20 mA output via an integrated transducer. The unit is supplied with a pre-assembled radiation shield (four aspirated plates) to protect the probe from direct solar radiation while allowing free airflow. Designed for PV plant monitoring and industrial installations; rated IP67.

Applications & benefits
  • Monitoring ambient air temperature at PV sites to support panel performance and energy yield analysis.
  • Compatible with dataloggers, gateways and PLCs that accept 4–20 mA inputs.
  • Designed and tested according to IEC 60751:2022 (Class A) and IEC 61724-1:2021 for measurement consistency.

Installation
The sensor ships with a pre-assembled radiation shield featuring mounting holes for quick screw mounting on flat surfaces or standard ground-mount supports. External parts are UV- and weather-resistant.

Why choose the SEVEN Ambient Temperature Sensor?
  • Integrated radiation shield for representative ambient measurements.
  • Pre-drilled mounting holes for fast, repeatable installation.
  • Analog 4–20 mA output simplifies integration with common industrial systems.
