Description

Product Overview
The Ambient Temperature Sensor measures air temperature where PV systems and industrial installations are deployed using a PT1000 probe. A transducer converts the PT1000 signal to a standard analog 4–20 mA output for compatibility with dataloggers, gateways and PLCs that accept 4–20 mA inputs. The unit is supplied with a pre-assembled radiation shield (four aspirated plates) to protect the probe from direct sunlight while allowing free airflow.

Analog 4–20 mA ambient temperature sensor with a high-precision PT1000 element. An electronic module inside a UV-resistant enclosure converts the PT1000 measurement to an analog 4–20 mA output. Engineered for photovoltaic plant monitoring and industrial HVAC applications in compliance with IEC 60751:2022 and IEC 61724-1:2021.

Installation
The sensor includes a pre-assembled radiation shield with mounting holes for quick, secure installation. The unit can be screwed onto a flat surface or mounted on a standard ground mounting fixture. All external parts are UV and weather resistant.
