Description

Product overview
The 3S-AT-PT1000-U ambient temperature sensor measures air temperature in PV and outdoor environments using a PT1000 probe and provides an analog 0–10 V output via an integrated transducer. The probe is protected by a UV-stabilized plastic radiation shield with four aspirated plates to ensure representative air flow while shielding from direct solar radiation.

Applications and standards
Designed for photovoltaic plant monitoring and environmental measurement systems. Built to meet IEC 61724-1:2021 and IEC 60751:2022 Class A requirements for accurate ambient temperature measurement in PV performance analyses.

Functionality
The PT1000 sensing element delivers high-precision temperature readings; an electronic board inside a UV-resistant enclosure converts the PT1000 signal to a stable analog 0–10 V output compatible with dataloggers, gateways and PLCs that accept 0–10 V inputs. Operating range and accuracy support reliable long-term monitoring under outdoor conditions.

Installation
