OverviewThe Tm Analysis System Tm Analysis System Shimadzu is an absorbance-based instrument designed to evaluate the thermal stability (Tm) of nucleic acids, including oligonucleotide therapeutics. Integration with LabSolutions™ software supports data management and ER/ES-related regulatory workflows.
What is the Tm Analysis SystemTm analysis measures the change in absorbance (melting curve) as double-stranded nucleic acids are heated and dissociate into single strands. The melting temperature (Tm) is defined as the temperature at which the mole fractions of single- and double-stranded forms are equal. This measurement is used to assess thermal stability, verify sequence-dependent behavior and support development of oligonucleotide-based drugs.
Key features- Absorbance-based melting-curve measurement for accurate Tm determination
- Control and data integrity via LabSolutions™ software
- Automated workflows to increase throughput and reproducibility
