Wireless coupling avoids complex or visible cabling and permits installation without interruption of operation. Detectors and manual call points can be relocated easily after building changes or extensions. Bi-directional data communication operates in the 868–870 MHz (SRD) and 433–435 MHz bands. The 3.6 V lithium battery (ordered separately) provides a service life of not less than 6 years. Available in different colors.
