The IS-OGP/ZI is an optogenetics XY positioner designed for precise positioning of a focused laser spot within the field of view of a microscope objective, specifically tailored for Zeiss microscopes. This device provides a simple and complete solution for adding a laser light source to your microscope, enabling advanced optogenetics research. It allows for the positioning of a small stimulation spot (typically 10 µm with a 20X objective) anywhere within the field of view. The system utilizes a single-mode FC connectorized fiber optic cable input from your light source, and the included FLG-FC/2 optics internal to the IS-OGP/ZI create a collimated input to the rear aperture of the microscope objective.
