The IS-OGP/OLY is an optogenetics xy positioner designed for positioning a focused laser spot within the field of view of a microscope objective, specifically fitting Olympus microscopes. This device provides a simple and complete solution for adding a laser light source to your microscope for optogenetics research. It enables precise positioning of a small stimulation spot (typically 10 µm with a 20X objective) to any location within the field of view. The system uses a single-mode FC connectorized fiber optic cable input from your light source, and the included FLG-FC/2 optics internal to the IS-OGP create a collimated input to the rear aperture of the microscope objective.
