TV/SC-I temperature control valves maintain the temperature in instrument enclosures to protect instrumentation from freezing or overheating caused by an uncontrolled heating element. The TV/SC-I valve is installed in the enclosure wall with the heating element inside the enclosure to sense the ambient temperature and regulate the steam supply to precisely maintain the desired temperature in the enclosure.
