TV/SC-A valves can be used in hundreds of freeze protection applications to control the flow of steam, gas or fluid as a function of ambient temperature. The TV/SC-A valve senses the air temperature and opens to initiate flow when the temperature falls below the valve setpoint. It then automatically switches off the heating medium when air temperatures rise above the valve setpoint again.
