Description

TV/SC-IR temperature control valves are installed in instrument enclosures for cooling purposes. These valves open at high temperatures to regulate the flow of glycol, water and other cooling fluids to prevent the instrument enclosure from overheating. - Technical Specifications - Maximum operating pressure: 13.8 barg (200 psig) - Maximum temperature at valve end: 198°C (388°F) - Maximum temperature at valve tip: 83.3°C (150°F) above setpoint with a limit at 149°C (300°F) - Connections: 1/2" or 3/8" - Material: Valve: 300 stainless steel; Bulkhead fitting: acetal copolymer - Possible opening temperature: From 1.7°C (35°F) to 93.3°C (200°F) - Closing temperature: 5.5°C (10°F) above opening temperature Features - Temperature control valve - Instrument enclosure cooling control - Mechanical operation (paraffin wax) without power supply or signal
