The SPQP-E Electro-Permanent Magnetic Chuck delivers maximum clamping force, exceptional rigidity, and reliable process safety. Featuring advanced square pole technology, it is ideally suited for tool and mold making as well as demanding machining applications in mechanical engineering.
The electro-permanent magnetic system generates clamping force through a short electrical impulse. Once activated, the chuck operates completely without further power consumption, eliminating heat generation and cumbersome cable connections during machining. This ensures high operational safety and cost-efficient production.
Its extreme holding force enables the secure clamping of small and thin-walled workpieces as well as large and heavy components made of steel. Square pole technology provides uniform force distribution across the entire clamping surface, while movable pole extensions allow distortion-free clamping of various workpiece geometries.
Low residual magnetism simplifies workpiece handling after machining, while the absence of heat generation prevents thermal distortion and supports consistently high machining accuracy.
