The mechanical self-centering vises of the MZR series are cost-effective clamping devices for raw part machining on multi-axis machining centers and automated manufacturing systems. The compact design provides excellent accessibility to the workpiece, especially in 5-axis machining applications with limited installation space.
The clamping systems are designed for applications requiring economical and process-reliable workholding where maximum centering accuracy is not the primary requirement.
The clamping range can be extended by reversing the one-piece reversible jaws with integrated grip steps. The positive-locking raw part clamping system provides high holding forces without pre-stamping the workpiece.
