Description

The STEINERT BRP Flex is a permanent magnetic pulley for easy integration into existing downstream systems – as a magnetic head pulley with an adjustable magnetic system. The STEINERT BRP Flex is a permanent magnetic pulley for easy integration into existing downstream systems – as a magnetic head pulley with an adjustable magnetic system. This magnetic head pulley separator is used to achieve high recovery rates of ferromagnetic materials. The pulley design includes a powerful permanent magnetic system with high-intensity neodymium magnets that ensures reliable separation even in demanding material streams. Depending on the application, the magnetic intensity can be adjusted precisely in order both to maximise the recovery of valuable ferrous fractions, and to influence the selectivity for materials with different degrees of magnetic attraction. The option of operating the system without magnetic effect creates additional flexibility in both operation and plant design. Typical applications for the STEINERT BRP Flex include the recovery of ferrous metals from incinerator bottom ash, ASR, e-scrap and aluminium shredder fractions, as well as the separation of ferrous contaminants from refuse-derived fuels (RDF) and other waste material streams. The magnetic head pulley is suitable wherever high Fe recovery is required together with flexibility in process control.
