Braided rod belts
Braided rod belt of Group 700
The braided rod belt consists of crimped cross bars, hooked together with thin round wires. Additional side reinforcement can be provided by means of a Z-edge. This type of belt is used as a coating grid for chocolate and confectionery and for conveying light-weight goods such as sponge cake. Braided rod belts are produced in a width of up to 2,500 mm and can withstand temperatures from -100 °C to 400 °C.
