High-resolution, industrial-grade and cost-optimized This positioning system for automated confocal microscopy and camera applications enables more than 100 million focalizations and produces excellent images. Especially for confocal optics, smallest positioning steps below one micrometer and minimal deviations from an ideally straight movement are required. A new drive concept consisting of a centrically acting eccentric drive for 100 nm positioning steps meets all industry requirements in terms of robustness, performance, reliability, integration and cost efficiency. Unaffected by external vibrations for excellent, high-resolution images • Ideal for automated confocal microscopy, analysis and scanning applications • High resolution measurements up to 0.1 µm with confocal sensors, as well as focus stacks with very small stacking distances • Outstanding rigid drive, insensitive to external vibrations for excellent images • Absolutly consistent quality at high throughput of up to 100 mm/s due to extremely robust and durable construction • Very high lifetime and guiding accuracy due to the use of frictionless solid state joints • Cost-optimized and high-precision drive concept consisting of stepper motor, eccentric and gear unit as well as linear measuring system Optionally expandable: • Adaptable for further traverse paths and different test objects • Position determination of the focus position via a linear measuring system, if required also via an absolute measuring system • Configurable for clean room ISO 14644-1 (up to class 1 on request) • Ready-to-use control with pre-configured controller incl. example software
