The flexible glycol heat exchanger from technotrans are used in various systems. For example, in free cooling: the heat exchanger transfers the waste heat from the machine to be cooled to the outside air via a water/glycol mixture with the aid of an air/water heat exchanger and fans. It is designed to suit the respective climate and the installation height. However, when the ambient temperature exceeds 35 °C, the application limits for dry coolers are reached. An economical alternative to the chiller with compressor chiller are the technotrans dry coolers with an adiabatic spray system. The use of special nozzles creates a fine mist that evaporates easily. The evaporative cooling cools the intake air and allows the recooling system to continue operating. As soon as the air temperature drops, the recooling system operates "dry" again.
