The Universal Grinding joint system for rubber profiles, has been designed to allow the customers to joint the profiles with or without metal carrier, using PE foil or EPDM foil. This innovative system combine "two machines in one", the operator to change process has just to turn a switch and eventually change the dedicated mould. The machine developed by Tecnofive integrates a trimming unit consisting of rotating diamond blades in order to improve the quality and the orthogonality of the surfaces that will be automatically welded with a sheet in polyethylene from the same machine. This way, seals with superior sealing and quality are produced. The closing and opening of the moulds is fully automatic to speed up the loading / unloading operations, and they are supported by a single structure in order to ensure perfect mechanical alignment. The vertical movement of the blade unit and the horizontal movement of the mould unit is carried out by means of servomotors, while blade replacement and cleaning operations are facilitated by special movements that can be selected by the operator when required.
