They have totally nonmetallic wetted components which makes them the ideal choice for the metering of food and drink based products and even ultra-pure water. Titan Enterprises maintains certification under NSF169 for their 800 Series turbine flowmeters and beverage dispensing flowmeters, as ‘equipment for food and drinks products’. The bearings are made of sapphire for long life and reliability, the body is moulded in a choice of thermo-plastics (PVDF as standard) and the ‘O’ ring seal is typically Viton™.
