Salad vegetable production line is a highly automated and standardized processing system used for processing ready to eat raw vegetables.

Core processing and corresponding equipment
  • 1. Initial processing: Manual sorting to remove rotten and spoiled vegetables. Machine: Sorting table. Peeling and washing for root vegetables (e.g., potatoes, carrots) performed by a brush peeler washer.
  • 2. Cutting: According to pre-set sizes, cut leafy vegetables into shreds, and cut root vegetables into shreds, slices, or cubes. Machine: Vegetable cutting machine.
  • 3. Washing and sterilization: Remove sediment and impurities by vortex water flow; ozone can be added into the cleaning water for sterilization. Machine: Vegetable vortex washer (high+low).
  • 4. Dewatering: Remove surface moisture of the cut vegetables with a high-speed centrifugal dewatering machine. Machine: Centrifugal dewatering machine.
  • 5. Weighing and packaging: The cut vegetables are filled into packaging boxes or bags after precise measurement. Machine: Vacuum packaging machine (or other packing machines).
