The (Pendulum) Impact Tester measures the impact value from the amount of pendulum energy required to fracture a specimen.
The Izod, Charpy, and Tensile methods can be used.
Optional instrumentation is useful for analysis of brittleness and toughness at impact.
Features
– Digital display type eliminates abrasion loss error of the needle and reading error by the measurer.
– Charpy impact test, Izod impact test, tensile impact test, etc. can be performed by changing the hammer and specimen support.
– Easy operation with color LCD touch panel. Average, maximum, minimum, coefficient of variation, and standard deviation of impact values can be displayed and saved.
– Measurement data can be saved on a PC*. (*Optional dedicated data processing software is required.)
– Hammer release* is available at the touch of a button. No individual differences in hook release and improved reproducibility. (*Optional)
– Instrumentation system* selectable. (*Optional. Charpy impact test and in-base method tensile impact test only)
– Specimen support stand* with positioning can be selected. Specimens can be set easily and precisely. (*Option for Charpy impact test)
– Safety cover* (without or with top panel) selectable (*Optional)
