Air-insulated shunt reactor 765 - 2 100 kV

The Capacitor (Damping) Reactors made to be installed in series with a shunt-connected capacitor bank to bound inrush currents in the capacitor bank caused by switching operations. It is also designed to limit outrush currents because of close-in faults and to regulate the resonant frequency of the system due to the inclusion of the capacitor banks. This product can be put on system voltages with 765 kV / 2100 kV BIL. The requested continual rating should consider for harmonic current content, tolerance on capacitors and permissible system over voltage when using capacitor reactors.
