Overview
Automation on demand: convert a manual press brake into a mobile automated bending cell in minutes. The Flex Cell connects to a TruBend 7050 to deliver a compact, re-positionable bending automation with generous raw material storage and short setup times.

Program bending sequences fast with TecZone Bend and create robot programs using the wizard on the robot teach panel for quick commissioning and changeovers.

  • 6-axis industrial robot: high performance, precision and mechanical quick‑coupling for rapid gripper changes.
  • Centering table: accurate blank positioning, reduced stacking precision requirements and perforated surface to prevent part adhesion.
  • Combi gripper: vacuum + pivoting‑jaw gripper with movable vacuum unit to minimise interference contours and enable overlapping flanges.
  • Double sheet detection: thickness measurement to detect two‑sheet pickups early and increase process reliability.
  • Conveyor belt: safe discharge of delicate parts, quick undocking and ample operator access.
  • Regripping stations: two integrated stations (fixed for small parts, adjustable for larger parts) with independent vacuum per suction cup.
  • Loading/unloading cart: prepare next parts during production for fast changes.
  • ACB angle measuring system: supports ACB Wireless and ACB Laser via the ACB “Smart” method.
  • Vacuum gripper: handles larger components up to 600 x 400 mm with an additional swivel axis to reduce regrips.
