Description Our plants perform the purification of water following these operating steps:
Equalization: This stage maintains a constant flow and buffer of influent to stabilize hydraulic and pollutant loads prior to treatment.
Flocculation and sedimentation: Coagulants and flocculants are dosed to agglomerate fine pollutants into settleable flocs; in the subsequent sedimentation phase these flocs accumulate at the bottom of the settling tank for removal.
Sludge extraction: Separated sludge is collected and can be transferred into dedicated filter bags or mechanically pressed to reduce disposal volume and cost. Process water from dewatering is returned to the treatment line.
Final filtration: A multi-stage filtration unit (quartz sand filter followed by activated carbon) retains remaining suspended solids and organic compounds; trapped particles are removed during regular filter backwash cycles.
