Valco Melton's CDS Color Code Reader monitors and validates print quality for 100% inspection of your carton production. The CDS sensor checks for color density using RGB values, inspecting color or black & white codes anywhere on the box, including foil boxes. The code reader offers inspection at speeds above 650 meters/min. The compact design allows the scanner to be mounted anywhere on the machine, inspecting top-down or bottom up. The system can alert for mixed-copy, faded or missing color, print, and die-cut registration. Unacceptable product triggers an ejector or marker, allowing defective cartons to be automatically removed from the order.
