Our Domed Hex Nuts, also known as Acorn Nuts, are manufactured to DIN 1587 are not threaded all the way through, which provides protection to the thread as well as an aesthetically pleasing finish. They also protect from potential injuiry from exposed threads. We also offer Caps Nuts and Nylon Locking Dome Nuts. Most commonly used in conjunction with Bolts and Machine Screws, these cap nuts are used to hold fasteners in place, joining two or more parts together. Our Domed Hex Nuts are available in A2 (Equivalant to 304) or A4 (Equivalent to 316 Marine Grade) Stainless Steel in metric sizes from M3 to M36.
