The hexagonal head of the shear nut is designed to shear during installation leaving a permanent dome fastening that cannot be undone. Most commonly used in conjunction with Bolts and Machine Screws, these products pare used to hold fasteners in place, joining two or more parts together. We also offer a large range of Nuts.
