Overview The C30ACi is a diesel-electric heavy-haul locomotive designed to deliver high tractive effort for lighter axle-load applications while integrating full AC traction technology for demanding freight operations. Individual-axle AC traction control maximizes adhesion and hauling capacity. The turbocharged 7FDL/EFI engine is validated for operations above 4,000 m and in temperatures from -50°C to +50°C, resisting high cyclic thermal loads.
