Short descriptionTOPONE Grade 60 stainless steel lifting chain combines high lifting capacity with corrosion resistance for use in hygienic and aggressive environments. Available in AISI 316L and AISI 318LN Duplex options across diameters 3–26 mm with Working Load Limits 0.20–15.00 t. Blasted stainless finish requires no coating.
IntroductionGrade 60 stainless steel lifting chain is an electrically welded short-link chain intended for load lifting where corrosion resistance or hygiene is required. Typical applications include food processing, pharmaceutical production, chemical plants, wastewater treatment, salt handling and marine engineering. Smaller sizes are supplied in AISI 316L; larger diameters use AISI 318LN Duplex for greater mechanical strength and improved pitting and chloride stress-corrosion resistance. Chains are supplied in cut lengths or assembled into single- and multi-leg chain slings with compatible Grade 60 stainless steel components. This medium-tolerance sling chain is not to be used as a hoist load chain unless manufactured and calibrated for that specific hoist wheel.

Standards and testingManufacture follows dimensional principles similar to DIN 5687 and EN 818-2; similarity does not imply EN 818-2 certification for Grade 60 stainless chain. ISO 1834 can be applied if agreed in the purchase order and confirmed by certificate. Production inspection includes material verification, visual and weld inspection, dimensional checks, manufacturing proof testing and breaking-load verification; minimum breaking force ≥ 4× stated WLL. Qualification testing may include fatigue verification to 20,000 cycles when requested. Batch traceability and inspection certificates are provided; completed slings carry serial numbers and identification tags. Completed chain sling capacities use manufacturer-specific Grade 60 WLL tables; do not apply Grade 80 EN 818-4 sling values to Grade 60 chain. All connected components must match chain diameter and Grade 60 WLL; the lowest-rated component determines assembly capacity. Follow ISO 3056 and manufacturer instructions for inspection and maintenance. Rinse after seawater or chemical exposure, dry before storage and avoid contamination by carbon-steel tools or grinding debris. Do not weld, heat, bend, galvanize, paint or coat a finished Grade 60 stainless lifting chain.
