Description:
Via a hole in the pipe (plastic deformation with the measuring connector serv-Clip® Type 2-mounting on non-pressurized pipes-INSTALLATION WITHOUT CUTTING PIPES-3 MINUTES), the sensor is placed directly into the oil circuit. The measuring system is based on the calorimetric principle, measuring flow rate speed in Meter/Second. Inexpensive and rapid Mounting.
Installation from pipe 12 x 1,5 mm up to 5,5 mm wall thickness possible.

TURCK's wear-free flow sensors reliably monitor the flow of gaseous and liquid media. The calorimetric operation of the sensors is based on the heat transport/heat loss principle, i.e., when fluid moves over the heated sensing probe, heat is conducted away from the sensor. The heat loss is thus a measure of the flow speed.
There are insertion and inline sensors available which can also be used in explosion hazardous areas according to ATEX 100a. Customer-specific versions with regard to special housing designs, materials and connections on request.

In many fields of process and plant engineering liquids or gases play a considerable part in the results of quality control and operational safety. In the case of coolant and lubricant supply, monitoring the functioning of pumps and aggregates, ventilation as well as monitoring the product itself a failure of the flow can cause considerable damage and downtime. Thus it is very important to monitor that these media are at the right place at the right time and in sufficient quantities. Electronic flow monitors based on the calorimetric principle are especially suited for binary flow monitoring.
As these systems work without any mechanically moved parts they can be mounted independent of mounting position and flow direction. Another distinguishing feature of the calorimetric principle is its independence of the viscosity of the medium. Electronic flow monitors are based on the principle of thermal conductivity.
The flow monitor consists of a sensor that converts this physical effect into an electrical signal, and of a control monitor which processes the sensor signals and converts them into a binary signal output. The sensor is mounted directly into the medium.

SCHMIDT® Flow-Sensor SS 20.60 HT, for high temperature up to 350 °C
SCHMIDT Technology has developed a high temperature version of the SS 20.60 for the applica-tion in operating temperature up to 350 °C - for short time even 400 °C.
The sensor differs formally in the white ceramic tip. Most of the modifications have been made in-side the sensor and the modules are designed according to the elevated specification.
A complete new designed electronic unit processes the results of measurement and provides a digital and analogue output of flow velocity as well as temperature. The new status indicator dis-plays information about the current flow velocity and the sensors status. Due to the modular con-cept the unit can also be supplied with field bus interfaces. The sensors with field bus interfaces can calculate Kg/h or m³/min. and thus disburdens the supervising PLC. Additionally the sensor gives access to its status information and allows the PLC to inform the user about defects of the sensor.
Applications:
Mass flow-control of combustion processes, burner control, flow measurement of process gases, volume flow measurement of test stands, Measurement of flow velocity in drying plants and steril-izing processes.

Saving energy is an important issue for all types of industry operating with compressed air. The new probes of the SONOAIR series, belonging to our high-precision measurement devices, are equipped with a lot of new details. These probes are able to detect the consumption of compressed air and non-combustible gases as well as leakage losses. There exist three different device series: Inline probes for pipe diameters of 15 – 50 mm, insertion probes for pipes with a diameter between 50 and 1000 mm and combined devices. The latter do not only detect the flow rate but also the temperature and the pressure within the pipe. For on-site interpretations there exist integrated displays or interfaces for using a PC or a Laptop. Alternatively, the measured data can also be stored on a data logger or a memory card.
The systems can be installed easily. They show a high measuring accuracy. The additional software allows external data interpretations as well as detailed process controls.

Air Flow Sensors Based on the Calorimetric Principle for Air or Gaseous Media. Compact, Precise, Rugged and Reliable
vent-captors are compact, self-contained flow sensors that work according to a calorimetric principle. The principle allows for the creation of compact, reliable flow sensors with a price/ performance ratio not possible with other physical flow-sensing principles.
Especially at a low flow rate, no other sensing principle can achieve the high accuracy of a vent-captor.
First engineered by weber Sensors more than 20 years ago, weber continues to pioneer sensors based on this principle.
vent-captors are available as insertion and in-line types. Both are also available with a binary output as switches and adjustable set-point and with an analog output as meters with an adjustable measuring range.

The SW-600 series is a range of flow sensors based on the calorimetric measuring principle. This priciple is based on the physical effect that flowing medium absorbs heat energy. The cooling of the sensor tip by the flowing medium is registered and electronically evaluated.

The Series JFM-P FloSen® Airflow Meassuring Probes provide accurate, repeatable measurement of air movement in HVAC ducts. Its patented elliptically-shaped sensor design with improved aerodynamic characteristics outperforms more traditional devices, and overcomes loss of accuracy caused by fluid separation at the sensor body. It is designed to maintain a constant parallel airflow pattern over the static sensing ports for more accurate, steady signals under all duct conditions. The elimination of separation results in a stabilized static pressure signal, helping to eliminate “hunting” during fan control.
FloSen® Airflow Probes utilize a unique in-line groove for total pressure sensing and dual ports for static pressure sensing which produces a higher differential pressure for very low velocity measurements. The total and static pressure measuring points are distributed for equal-area averaging of flows resulting in improved accuracy and reliability. This design permits accurate and stable measurement in highly turbulent flow locations with directional pitch and yaw varying up to 20 degrees without the need for air flow straighteners which restrict airflow and can easily become clogged. The elliptical shape of the FloSen® Airflow Probes allows air to glide unrestricted around the aerodynamically designed sensors and offers the lowest pressure drop of any airflow measuring device available minimizing HVAC operating costs.
The FloSen® Airflow Probes have been designed for easy installation and maintenance. The insertion-style probes can be completely installed from outside the duct.

Fuel flow sensor DPT is designed for measuring diesel fuel consumption in the fuel line of vehicles and installations. Fuel flow sensor DPT transforms fuel flow volume into a number of impulses.
Fuel flow sensor DPT is to be used together with Fuel Monitoring Systems, Fleet Management Systems (for example CKPT 31 Lite), GPS tracking systems, AVL Systems which have discrete or pulse input 0-32V. Our 30000 Series fixed set-point flow switches have factory-preset settings. The many features and the adjustability found on our other models have been designed out.
Their compact size and basic profile results in low cost switches that can be mounted where space is limited. This makes them popular for OEM applications where
simple flow switch actuation is required.
Designed for in-line use, the fluid enters the end connection and exits the side port. As the fluid passes through the unit it pushes against a spring-loaded
piston magnet sensor. As the sensor magnet moves into proximity of the reed switch the switch is actuated.
