DAQ modules are single-channel plug-in units for dynamic signals. They are available for just about every popular sensor and input type in use today. These include voltage from mV to kV, strain gages, accelerometers, thermocouples and RTD's (see all the PAD/EPAD/CPAD series for static and quasi-static voltage and temperature measurements), potentiometric, and current sensors. Click the details button above to see a matrix of the available modules within this series
Dewetron signal conditioning modules are available in a variety of configurations. they can be combined in countless ways, such as integrated with an instrument, (see the Multifunction and Dedicated instruments page) or in separate chasses (see the DEWE-RACK, DEWE-BOOK, and DEWE-MDAQ page), and as an expansion to an all-in-one instrument as mentioned above. We have several distinct series, but basically DAQ and MDAQ modules are for dynamic signals, while PAD, EPAD, and CPAD modules are for static and quasi-static signals.

The elimination of ground loops in your 4-20mA signal loops is the key to reliable and accurate measurements. The Omniterm Current Loop Isolator family are designed specifically to solve these system problems, whether you just need to isolate a two-wire transmitter from your PLC, or whether you need to split a current loop into two for the addition of data acquisition or monitoring.

The TIS conditioner series is able to output high-level normalized signals (0¸20mA, 4¸20mA, 0¸10V, etc...) from temperature transducers as thermocouples or RTD or any other voltage or current sources, keeping electrical insulation between high level output, transducer and conditioner power supply.
The need for isolated and amplified signals is experienced in several field of application; but it is mandatory when multiple thermocouples are to be connected to the same automation or measuring system.
If the thermocouples were not insulated, a current circulation path arises and the useful signals became distorted and as a consequence any measure is impossible.
The insulation, in general, assures an optimum noise immunity and a valid protection against unwanted voltages often superimposed on low-level signals in the field and sometimes potentially destructive.

Your measurement is only as good as the signal path, so why compromise on signal conditioning? Genesis signal conditioners are daughter cards mounted integrally with the acquisition module in the same slot. This concept allows for future plans and expansions while maintaining the standardized feature set without compromise.
The basic amplifier signal conditioners give you 8 channels with single-ended or unbalanced differential, isolated inputs on one board. With 200 kS/s or 1 MS/s digitizing rate at 16-bit resolution, they are ideally suited for high definition transient recording.
The 200 kS/s and 1 MS/s bridge amplifier versions comprise everything that you would expect from LDS Nicolet. They offer isolated and differential inputs, high gain, and extremely good SNR even at the maximum 400 kHz bandwidth. Both versions come with on-board software, selectable shunt calibration and bridge completion resistors, a bridge wizard for error-free setup and fast auto balance.
The unique high-end universal amplifier serves a variety of needs, ranging from differential and/or isolated measurements to ICP®-based vibration or shunt-based current measurements. Apart from the differential mode, the amplifier supports any type of 'constant current' vibration and acceleration sensors. In "current mode", the built-in shunt can be used to measure up to 1 ampère in a safe, isolated and fused manner, without the need for external shunt resistors.
As a special input board, the binary marker input CT enables up to 64 "digital" channels to be recorded as well. This board can be used to record status signals from the process or test like high/low, open/closed or left/right. It also offers three counter/timer inputs to do frequency or RPM measurements as well as to record quadratur encoder signals.
A special variant of this board is the binary marker input HV. This is similar to the CT version, but offers fibre-optic isolated inputs and a fiber-optic SYNC line for use in HighPower/HighVoltage environments.
For ultra fast signals, the 25 MS/s and 100 MS/s fast digitizers are equipped with four channels sampling at an incredibly high speed. With selectable anti-aliasing filtering and 14- or 15-bit resolution, these inputs turn the Genesis into the fastest transient recorder ever seen. The fast digitizers are available in single-ended versions or with fully differential inputs.
