Teledyne Hastings Instruments (THI)
VT-Series Vacuum Gauges are the original models that have generated repeat customers for over 60 years. Their reputation is built upon exceptional stability, accuracy, and reliability under the most demanding conditions.
VT-Series Vacuum Gauges are available in three standard ranges: 0-100 mTorr, 0-1000 mTorr, and 0-20 Torr. A self-contained gauge circuit is attached to the rear of the direct reading meter. All VT-Series Vacuum Gauges feature long life and minimal maintenance.
These instruments utilize THI’s rugged but sensitive noble metal TC gauge tubes that are designed specifically for each range. Tubes are matched and interchangeable without calibration adjustments. They are compensated for temperature and rate of temperature change and are corrosion-resistant

The Teledyne Hastings Instruments (THI) Digital VT/CVT are digital readout versions of the successful VT/CVT-Series “Hastings Gauges” which have generated loyal customers for over 50 years. A reputation has been built on exceptional stability, accuracy, and reliability under the most demanding
conditions.
A precision A/D converter along with a microprocessor are used to measure the thermocouple vacuum gauge tube’s signal output, convert the measurement to a pressure reading employing the gauge tube’s well-defined output/pressure function, and displays the result. These instruments are packaged in 1/8 DIN panel mounted case with 3 digit green LED display.
The Digital VT/CVT Vacuum Gauge Meters are available for two of THI’s most popular gauge tube families: the DV-6 and the DV-4. The DV-6 range is 1-999 mTorr. The DV-4 range is 0.02-20 Torr. These tubes utilize THI’s rugged but sensitive noble metal thermocouples that are designed specifically for each range. Tubes are matched and interchangeable without calibration adjustments. They are compensated for temperature and rate of temperature change and are corrosion resistant.

The HPM-760S module is an exceptionally stable, accurate and repeatable absolute pressure gauge. The output signal is a highly linear voltage or current signal suitable for many process control applications. As an absolute pressure gauge, readings are unaffected by gas composition. This compact instrument is constructed of 316 stainless steel on all wetted surfaces. The sensor is available as a stand-alone instrument, or may be configured with the optional Digital Power Supply featuring dual hi-lo control set points. This is an economical sensor alternative to higher cost systems.

General Overview :
The Pirani gauge is a roughing pressure vacuum gauge. It uses the thermal conductivity of gases to measure pressure. VG Scienta has two different types of Pirani gauge measuring slightly different pressure ranges; they are both available in a variety of styles with a range of mounting flanges.
|
|
|
Many vacuum applications operate only in a specific pressure range. Analog and digital total vacuum or pressure measurement instruments are employed to measure and control the total pressure in a vacuum system. Pfeiffer Vacuum offers you three different lines of total pressure gauges.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The VacuMini is a commercial version of Televac's highly successful NASA 2A sensor. VacuMini uses the same principle of operation as all Televac type 2A thermocouple sensors. It is roughly 1/2 the size and volume of traditional vacuum thermocouple sensors. A machined 304 stainless body is designed with 1/8" NPT connection threads and integral wrench flats for ease of installation. Unlike traditional vacuum thermocouple sensors which have exposed electrical pins, VacuMini's pins are protected in two ways. They are recessed within the sensor body diameter and a tethered and gasketed military type screw-on weather cap isolates the pins from moisture and dirt. The VacuMini will operate in any physical orientation. We do suggest you consider using one of our filters in the event your vacuum vessel or process contains excessive particulates or contaminates.
PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
The VacuMini is ideally suited to applications where the vacuum vessel is located outdoors or in a physical environment that renders use of traditional thermocouple sensors impractical. Examples of such applications include:
- Fixed & mobile bulk cryogenic storage and transport vessels.
- Vacuum jacketed gas delivery manifolds.
- Mechanical vacuum pumps and blowers.
- House vacuum systems

Both, sensors and electronics are consequently designed for high performance with minimum power consumption.
Let intelligent microcontrollers take automatic care of sensor control. This will guarantee optimal interaction between the Pirani and ionization sensors and offer user friendly operation.
More Smartline advantages:
- Compact, metal sealed sensors
- Low thermal and electric influence on the vacuum process
- Insensitive against shock venting
- Correct pressure readings due to separate gas correction factors for each sensor

A&N currently offers two styles of vacuum gauges for rough vacuum applications:
Bourdon gauges
Thermocouple gauge tubes
A&N Bourdon gauges provide '30 to 30' (30” Hg vacuum to 30 psig) range of vacuum measurement and are available in multiple flange styles. Vacuum measurement is accomplished by a mechanical process in which a copper tube changes position due to the force of atmospheric pressure acting upon it. The mechanical force moves the indicator needle and provides a visual reading of the presence of vacuum in the system. Because this is a mechanically induced reading, Bourdon gauges work reliably regardless of the type of gas present.
A&N thermocouple gauge tubes are dependable, low-cost replacement tubes for a variety of manufacturers. A cross-reference chart as well as a full explanation of their operation is available in the A&N print catalog or in the PDF version of the print catalog (see above). Thermocouple tubes are often used to monitor foreline pressure and to signal that the system has reached cross-over pressure.

World first: The new Pirani sensor VSP 3000 from VACUUBRAND offers the world first fine vacuum sensor with outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical robustness. Primarily designed for applications in chemistry laboratories and process engineering, it benefits from a ceramic-encapsulated measuring element, an embedded reference element for temperature stability and wetted parts made of high-grade chemically resistant plastics. This technological breakthrough means that the VSP 3000 is a high shock proof sensor that will even survive in the event of sudden gas bumping – a typical cause of failure for standard sensor filaments.
This new patent pending sensor design is unique in fine vacuum measurement and sets a new benchmark standard for chemical fine vacuum measurement. The new Pirani sensor VSP 3000 from VACUUBRAND can be used in conjunction with both the DCP 3000 vacuum gauge and the CVC 3000 vacuum controller respectively and offers therefore not only a versatile fully chemically resistance in the measuring range from atmosphere down to 10-3 mbar, but also the innovative possibility of accurate 2-point vacuum control within this extended range. In addition, up to four external gauge heads can be connected simultaneously to the DCP 3000 vacuum gauge for easy and cost effective multi-point measurement. With small flange connection KF DN 16 at the gauge head and a screw-in hose nozzle for DN 6 to DN 10, the sensor offers flexible connection options for existing vacuum apparatus. Finally, the VACUU•BUS™-system also allows cable extensions up to 30 m, enabling remote application usage.
