The scale gratings are made of vacuum deposited chrome on a glass substrate. This process guarantees high accuracy and renders the scales extremely resistant to chemical and mechanical abrasion. In addition to the main incremental track a second track with one or more reference marks can be applied. These are used to establish reference positions along the main track. Absolute track with special grating patterns be added also. Glass substrates are available in a variety of lengths, widths, diameters and thicknesses.
Precizika Metrology has generated technological processes and equipment of scales production to perform all production stages by giving preference to the rationality of production.

Speed sensors are designed for installation in drives as an alternative to the conventional encoders. They are contactless and are equipped with a magnetic scanning system which, in conjunction with a toothed wheel as measuring scale permits the measurement of rotary motion. This solution is exceptionally space saving.
The speed sensors are designed for highly reliable speed and direction measurements starting from 0 Hz and - due their metallic housings - are suitable for even the harshest working conditions. In addition, they tolerate large air gaps between target wheel and sensor element. The sensor elements, the magnet and the integrated electronic system are incorporated in state-of-the-art micro system technology and are fully encapsulated. The design together with subsequent circuitry ensures an electrically and mechanically robust product.
Advantages:
* The miniaturized sensors are dew-point proof, do not wear and are insensitive to dirt, shock and vibration.
* The toothed wheels can be adapted to any machine geometry (interior and exterior diameter, impulse number).
* MiniCoders require no maintenance and thus have a low cost of ownership.
* This extremely flexible system offers you not only long term reliability but also solutions to gain a competitive edge.

Rotational Speed Sensor Type FUA9192
Optical probe for measurements of rotational speed, designed as retroreflective photoelectric sensor for photoelectric detection of rotational speeds or events.
For evaluation of the pulses, the tachometer probe is equipped with a specific frequency meter module that calculates the number of revolutions per minute from the time period between two pulses. A stable read-out is achieved by averaging over a minimum of 500 ms.
Easy application:
A reflective adhesive tape is attached to the moving part and the probe is aligned with it. For function control purposes a yellow signal lamp at the rear side of the probe will be on when the reflective adhesive tape is recognised.
To increase the operation reliability the sensitivity can be adjusted through a potentiometer.

Linear encoders
Sealed linear encoders are protected from dust, chips and splash fluids and are ideal for operation on machine tools.
Exposed linear encoders operate with no mechanical contact between the scanning head and the scale or scale tape. Typical areas of application for these encoders include measuring machines, comparators and other precision devices in linear metrology, as well as production and measuring equipment, for example in the semiconductor industry.
With incremental linear encoders, the current position is determined by starting at a datum and counting measuring steps, or by subdividing and counting signal periods. Incremental encoders from HEIDENHAIN feature reference marks, which must be scanned after switch-on to reestablish the datum. This process is especially simple and fast with distance-coded reference marks.
Absolute linear encoders require no previous traverse to provide the current position value. The encoder transmits the absolute value through the EnDat interface or another serial interface.
Length gauges
Length gauges from HEIDENHAIN feature integral guideways for the plunger. They are used to monitor measuring equipment, in industrial metrology, and also as position encoders.

Honeywell speed sensors using Variable Reluctance sensing technology are simple, rugged devices that do not require an external voltage source for operation. The output signal of a VRS sensor is an ac voltage that varies in amplitude and wave frequency as the speed of the monitored device changes, and is usually expressed in peak to peak voltage (Vp-p). Honeywell offers VRS sensors for general purpose, high output, power output, high resolution, high temperature and hazardous location applications, as well as low-cost molded versions.
Best Used For:
Engine RPM (revolutions per minute) measurement on aircraft, automobiles, boats, buses, trucks and rail vehicles; motor RPM measurement on drills, grinders, lathes and automatic screw machines; process speed measurement on food, textile, paper, woodworking, printing, tobacco and pharmaceutical industry machinery; wheel-slip measurement on autos and locomotives; gear speed measurement.

|
Variable-reluctance sensors are preferred for industrial and automotive environments, because they sustain mechanical vibration and higher temperature operation. In most applications, they sense a steel target that is part of a rotating assembly. Because the unprocessed signal amplitude is proportional to target speed, a sensor whose signal-processing circuitry is designed for high speed ceases to function at some lower rate of rotation.
Variable Reluctance sensors are often referred to a 'passive' magnetic sensor because it does not need to be powered. Variable Reluctance sensors are 'self generating'
The variable reluctance wheel speed sensor is basically a permanent magnet with wire wrapped around it. It is usually a simple circuit of only two wires where in most cases polarity is not important. The physics behind the operation include magnetic induction.

The transducers of position DR ITALY are of the used sensors of precision in the limiters of moment in the fields of the self-propelleds crane and the aerial platforms.
They are constituted from a mechanical part of precision that serves to evincere the measure that a telescopic arm assumes (main arm, stabilizers crosspieces, ec...) and from a joint electrical worker to special contacts who transfers the information from the head of the arm (finecorsa hook, anemometer, television camera, etc...). Inner Al they can be endowed of an electronic sensor that measure the angle that assumes the arm.
